Corbett Covered Deck

Outdoor living at it’s finest. This is a custom covered deck project that we did in the Spring of ‘22. Earlier in the season we had a violent windstorm that tore the existing structure off the house. We had to come up with something that would withstand winds over 100 MPH in the Corbett area of the Columbia River Gorge. The sky jack system allows for wind to escape and not be trapped by the structure. This product mounts through the roof onto the existing exterior structural walls. It is made to hold a glulam beam and makes for excellent esthetics and structural integrity. Added skylights, along with 4” LED fixtures and a switched outlet for Christmas lights in the winter. The tongue and groove pine on the ceiling and in the skylights give it that custom finished look. The level beam between the house and the exterior posts hold two retractable cordless outdoor patio roller shades that have small attachment locations on the ground to help with the shade and wind in Summer.
